Improving our Memberships
for the 2025-2026 Season
As Orillia's community theatre for 55 years, Mariposa Arts Theatre Foundation is more dedicated than ever to maintaining the high level of our programming and providing our community and audiences with opportunities to share their love of theatre on and off the stage.
After careful consideration and a thorough review of our financial requirements and the services we provide, the MAT Board of Directors has decided to increase the annual membership dues. With rising costs all around, this adjustment is essential to ensure that we can continue to deliver the high-quality productions, film nights, and rehearsal facilities to a level that our cast, crew and members both expect and deserve.
Effective: 2025-2026 Season
New Annual Dues: $25.00
This increase will enable us to enhance our current offerings, including our operations and the ability to improve and maintain our one-of-a-kind facility, The MAT Centre. Members will still be able to vote at our AGM, participate in our productions and support their local theatre arts community, but we are also actively working to bring you new upcoming events and workshops, such as our recent dance conditioning classes held this past summer, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes MAT content, pre-sale and discount codes, and even MORE exciting offerings which we can’t wait to share with you soon!
Our goal is to provide exceptional value for your membership, and we believe that the additional resources will significantly benefit you and all our members. We understand that any increase in dues may cause some concern and want to reassure our members that our Board made this decision carefully while considering the impact on our individual members and the impact on our organization's sustainability.
